Crafco Loop Detector Sealant 271 is a hot-applied, rubberized asphalt material formulated to be a stiff, yet flexible, sealant which is ideally suited for sealing traffic loop detector cuts. At application temperatures, Loop Detector Sealant 271 is a thin, free-flowing fluid which pours easily, penetrates narrow traffic loop detector cuts and self-levels; thus, permitting easy application. The Sealant can be
used to seal narrow or wide loop cuts in either asphalt or portland cement concrete pavements. After application, Loop Detector Sealant 271 cools to produce a well bonded stiff product at ambient temperatures which resists tracking or pick-up in areas with slow moving or pedestrian traffic. Loop Detector Sealant 271 can be melted and applied to pavements using either pressure feed melter applica
tor units or pour pots. Loop Detector Sealant 271 has been a quality Crafco product for over 20 years. VOC = 0 g/l.
